Signals and trends

What your market is doing, scored against your brand

A trend feed is easy to build and nearly useless: it optimises for volume, and volume is exactly what a small marketing team does not have capacity for.

Availability: Available

What it does

  • Scores trends and cultural moments for relevance to the workspace's brand rather than listing everything moving
  • Tracks what competitors are shipping
  • Alerts on the specific signals the workspace chooses, not on everything
  • Feeds relevant signals into the next calendar instead of parking them in a separate dashboard

In practice

Relevance scoring is the product here. Everything else — the sources, the alerting, the competitor tracking — is table stakes that becomes noise without it.

Signals landing in the calendar rather than in a dashboard is what closes the loop. A trend you read about and do not act on is entertainment; a trend that becomes a slot with a rationale is marketing.

This is where the system stops being a pipeline. What comes back from the market changes what gets planned next, using the same brand record that shaped the last plan.

What this does not do

  • Coverage depends on which sources you connect. Obelo does not claim visibility into a platform, region or competitor you have not given it a way to see.
  • Relevance is scored, not decided. A high score is an argument for a slot, not an automatic one.
  • The signals entitlement starts at Starter Pro. It is not granted on the trial or on Starter — see the plan table below.

All listed capabilities are available. These rows show which capabilities each plan includes; access begins through the waitlist during the pre-launch period.

What we claim, and what backs it

Each statement below is a governed record with an owner, a review date and its supporting evidence. Nothing on this page asserts a customer outcome, because no customer evidence has been approved for publication.

  • Trends, cultural moments and competitor movement are scored for relevance to the workspace's brand, and the signals feed the next calendar rather than a separate dashboard.

Coverage depends on the sources you connect.

    Evidence

    • The public launch-state registry publishes signals and trends as generally available.
    • The signals entitlement is granted from Starter Pro upwards, and not on the trial or Starter.
