Brand and positioning

Your brand, held as structured data

A brand guideline that lives in a PDF gets read twice and then contradicted for a year. Obelo holds the same decisions as fields, and every other part of the system reads from them instead of from memory.

Availability: Available

What it does

  • Extracts positioning, audience and voice from a public website into named fields rather than prose
  • Records the words a brand uses and the words it never uses, and applies both to everything generated afterwards
  • Takes colours, type and logo from the site rather than asking for another upload
  • Captures a starting picture of where the brand ranks today, so later movement has a baseline
  • Accepts corrections once; downstream work inherits the corrected value without being regenerated by hand

In practice

The first thing Obelo asks for is a URL, not a questionnaire. What comes back is a structured record: positioning statement, audience segments, tone attributes, approved and forbidden vocabulary, colour and type tokens, and a snapshot of current search position.

That record is the single input every other part of the system reads. It is the reason a calendar generated in March and a post produced in September sound like the same company, and the reason correcting a tone attribute once does not mean re-briefing four tools.

Extraction is a starting point, not an answer. It is expected to be wrong about something, which is why the record is editable and why edits propagate rather than fork.

Where it sits in the loop

What this does not do

  • It reads a public website. It does not read anything behind a login, and it cannot infer a positioning you have never written down anywhere.
  • It does not decide your positioning for you. It structures what your site already says so you can see it, disagree with it and correct it.
  • Extraction quality tracks the source. A one-page site with three sentences produces a thin record, and Obelo will show you that rather than invent the missing parts.

What we claim, and what backs it

Each statement below is a governed record with an owner, a review date and its supporting evidence. Nothing on this page asserts a customer outcome, because no customer evidence has been approved for publication.

  • Obelo reads a public website and returns the brand's identity, voice, audience and search position as structured fields that everything built afterwards reads from.

    Evidence

    • The public launch-state registry publishes brand and positioning as generally available.
    • Every published plan, including the trial, grants the brand-and-positioning entitlement.
    • A dated, shipped release covering Brand Identity Guide generation and the production composition agent.
